Bradley B. Chambers • President and Chief Executive Officer, Buckingham Companies
Brad Chambers founded Buckingham Companies in 1984 as a developer of multifamily residential housing. Chambers is a principal in all of the company-owned partnerships and oversees the strategic direction of each of the company's divisions, including Property and Asset Management, Development, and Construction. Chambers is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Multi-Family Housing committee with the Indiana Builders Association, is a member of the National Multi Housing Council, a Board Member of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and a member of the Young Presidents Organization. Mr. Chambers is a past Vice Chair of the Urban Land Institute Indiana Chapter, past member of the Indiana State Office Building Commission, the Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of Indiana and the Indianapolis Police Department Civilian Merit Board.
Scott Travis • Senior Development Executive
As Senior Development Executive, Scott is responsible for managing the development process from site selection to construction management for Buckingham Companies. Prior to his current position, Scott held the Director of Construction for Metro Construction, Buckingham Companies, Director of Design and Pre-Construction, White Lodging Corporation, and Vice President of Development, White Lodging Corporation. Specifically, Scott led the development efforts of more than $2.4 billion in investments and the construction of over $800 million in new construction with a focus on residential and hospitality development. Scott served honorably in the United States Navy and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Ball State University.
Matt Griffin • Development Manager
Matt Griffin is responsible for site design, entitlements, and project management of Buckingham's land acquisition and development activities in the Midwest. Matt's previous experience includes urban design, comprehensive city planning, and economic development. Matt holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Ball State University. Matt is a member of the American Planning Association and holds a professional certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners. Matt has been a key team member in award winning projects throughout the Midwest, and has been recognized as one of the most influential professionals under 40 years old by the Indianapolis Business Journal.
Rob Martinson • Development Manager
As a Development Manager, Rob is responsible for due diligence, entitlement, financing and project management activities related to Buckingham’s large mixed used projects. Rob has over 8 years of construction and project management experience, having worked for Trammell Crow, CB Richard Ellis and his own project management firm. Rob holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a master degree in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Doug Pedersen • Development Manager
Doug Pedersen is responsible for managing real estate development projects including due diligence, entitlements, design and construction management. Doug has worked in mixed use real estate development for 17 years across 14 states. After working for development consulting firms in Chicago for 8 years specializing in entitlements and design management, he worked for Kite Realty Group as Vice President of Predevelopment Division for over seven years. Most recently Doug worked for JP Morgan Chase as a Vice President in their West Region real estate development group. Doug is active in coaching athletic teams for his three sons. He graduated with a Master’s Degree from the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University focusing in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning.
Andrew Klineman, J.D. • General Counsel
As General Counsel, Andy provides legal counsel, advice and services intended to enable Buckingham to achieve its business objectives without exposing Buckingham to inappropriate legal risks. Andy received his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame. Andy's professional experiences include serving as Associate General Counsel for a national real estate developer, an associate attorney in the real estate section of the largest law firm in Indianapolis and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Mayor's Office of the City of Indianapolis. Andy is a member of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Associations, the Association of Corporate Counsel and previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo).
